The EU project MMinE-SwEEPER has been launched at GEOMAR. Led by Professor Dr Jens Greinert, the project will bring together 20 international partners to develop innovative and safe strategies for removing unexploded ordnance from the sea.
With a budget of almost six million euros, MMinE-SwEEPER will work over the next three and a half years to develop solutions to this urgent environmental problem in European waters.
